Business & Commercial Energy Solutions

At JPH Renewables, we help businesses turn their space into a source of renewable energy and so reduce their carbon footprint and their utility bills. Solar energy systems, whether on rooftops, carports or ground-mounted, offer a simple solution to cut costs, sharpen your image and meet energy needs.

How Solar Works for Your Business

Commercial rooftops, especially those with south or east/west-facing aspects, are perfect for solar panels.

Solar carports not only generate electricity but also provide shaded parking, reducing the energy needed for air conditioning in vehicles.

If you have surrounding green space, ground-mounted panels can maximise energy production even further.

We’ll design a system that suits your building’s energy needs and space.

Why Install Solar Energy for Your Business?

As more consumers and clients prioritise sustainability, businesses are facing increasing pressure to reduce their environmental impact. Installing a solar energy system helps your organisation take significant steps toward achieving net-zero emissions. It’s a visible commitment to the environment that resonates with customers, clients and stakeholders.

The energy payback is quick too. In northern Europe, the carbon emissions involved in manufacturing and installing a solar PV system are typically offset within two years. After that, the energy generated by your system is truly zero-emission.

Solar energy is not only about going green – it’s about saving money. By sizing your solar system to meet the energy needs of your building, you reduce or even eliminate the need to buy electricity from the grid. Add battery storage to further optimise savings, allowing you to store solar power for later use or trade energy to offset peak-time costs.

A solar installation is more than just an energy solution – it’s a powerful statement that your organisation cares about the planet and also enables you to meet your ESG requirements around energy usage. Many consumers today are choosing companies with strong green credentials and so a visible commitment to renewable energy can set you apart from the competition. It’s also a factor which attracts employees, with more people preferring to work for companies that are actively reducing their carbon footprint.

Brighten Your Bottom Line

“JPH Electricals group gave a professional and friendly service. They kept us informed throughout. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and they were clean, tidy and conscientious. We found them very competitively priced and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for work to be carried out.”

Installation of wall lights, double sockets and light switch plus testing

Global food company Kerry Taste & Nutrition were seeking to reduce their carbon emissions by 55% by 2030, and also wanting to protect their business from volatile energy costs. We installed a 294kW solar system on the roof of their Shropshire plant. The installation is projected to generate 250MWh of electricity annually, and to save Kerry T&N almost £200,000 in energy costs over the next 20 years.

How We Make It Happen?

At JPH Renewables, we focus on solutions that provide a strong return on investment. Our process is designed to ensure you get the most value for your money, without any unnecessary costs.

1. Initial Consultation & Site Review

You provide us with the address of your site and share your energy goals. If you have them, site layouts and building drawings are helpful. We’ll also need your electricity bills or half-hourly data – if you don’t have this, we can obtain it from your supplier (with your written consent).

2. Desktop Analysis

We assess your site, looking at roof aspect, shading, access and more. From here, we model your system, determining how many panels can fit, sizing inverters and planning cable routes. This gives us a performance forecast over a typical year.

3. Financial Proposal

We calculate the installation and equipment costs, then prepare a financial model to show your return on investment (ROI). You’ll receive a written proposal with all the key details. We can also present the findings to key decision-makers if needed.

4. Site Survey & Full Estimate

If you decide to move forward, we conduct a detailed site survey and gather any necessary engineering reports. We provide a more comprehensive estimate, offer help with planning applications, and obtain DNO (Distribution Network Operator) approvals as required.

5. Project Plan & Delivery

Once all approvals are in place, we develop a detailed project plan with fully defined costings.
